It was one of those days when the sun meant business in Atlanta, with temperatures in the mid 90’s. By mid-morning, the hawks began riding the thermals; and by noon, dozens were kettling in the sky.
Performers at the first day of the Ocmulgee Indian Festival in Macon included Mikayla Buckley, singer and reigning Miss Muscogee (Creek) Nation; Cody Boettner, World Champion Hoop Dancer; William Harjo, musician and storyteller; and this young member of the Mystic Wind Choctaw Social Dancers.

The Australia Independent Film Festival, known as the “Festival Where Stars Shine,” will be held this November 1-3. The AIFF is directed by Jeremy Rigby and Richard Lawton and receives not only a Top 100 ranking on Film Freeway, but environmental sustainability certification through Co2nsensus.
