FilmQuest is one of the premiere genre festivals in the U.S., one of MovieMaker Magazine’s Top 50 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee, and a Film Freeway Top 100 event that earns a perfect score from filmmakers and screenwriters. It receives well over 1000 entries each year and awards the coveted Cthulhu trophy to winners.
Both All Living Things and The Invisible Kingdom made the finals at the 2016 festival in Provo, earning a listing in the Top 25 Unproduced Screenplays of the Year. In announcing their picks, the judges rated these screenplays among “the best of the best,” projects “that exemplify quality and vision,” and which can “sit proudly with the top genre works on the planet.”
High praise for works that started out as sequels before taking on life of their own, telling tales of noble sacrifice, devoted struggle, ascendancy and glory.
